Description
ANDEAN MOUNTAIN CHEESE MONDEL is a cheese made with the technology of the French Comté Gruyere Cheese with a slightly greasy rind of a dark brown yellow color with some shades of brown. The texture is dense and compact with few regulating eyes. It has a wheel format of 30 cm in diameter by 15 cm high and weighs approximately 10 kg. ANDEAN MOUNTAIN CHEESE MONDEL has a very complex flavor; fruity at first and then with a nutty taste that lingers on the palate. Its aroma is very peculiar thanks to the special care we give it during ripening.
Use
It is the appropriate cheese for onion soup. It is used on cheese trays, in fondue mix and for gratin. As a condiment, in the form of grated cheese, it gives your recipes a special touch.
